Qualifications

• 10+ years in master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker, or fire officer.
• Comprehensive understanding of US construction, fire, or mining codes and standards.
• Expertise in CNC programming, machining processes, and GD&T application.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex field or shop scenarios in written and verbal formats.
• Experience reviewing fire and building plans with safety and regulatory focus.
• Comfort working independently on remote projects, delivering high-quality input.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret advanced machining drawings and GD&T specs to provide real-world feedback.
• Analyze CNC setup and programming docs for best practices and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate construction plan sheets for issues, missing info or clarity improvements.
• Interpret drilling and mine plans to assess accuracy, feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
• Conduct fire and building plan reviews to ensure safety and compliance in recommendations.
• Produce precise written and verbal explanations of technical concepts and field implementations.
• Contribute domain-specific expertise to ensure project outcomes are grounded in real-world practices.
