General Plastics & Composites LP is seeking a Senior Machinist 3 to set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of CNC and manual machines. You will read complex blueprints, assist in training junior machinists, and lead improvement initiatives while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of CNC/manual machining experience, strong math and measurement tool skills, and a keen commitment to safety and precision.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with Manual and/or CNC machines.
• Must have math skills and be able to use handheld measuring tools.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
• Assists training junior machinists and leads improvements with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual lathes, mills, CNC lathes, CNC mills, and Waterjet machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for processes and programs.
• Lead improvements initiatives and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety regulations; perform preventive maintenance as required.
