Job summary

Mosaic is seeking an experienced Lead Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role works alongside the production crew, operating machinery, coordinating workflows, and driving daily output.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, can setup/changeover equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and train others. The position is full-time, on-site, with emphasis on quality checks and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on manufacturing or machine operation.
• Experience with setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to train or direct other employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment alongside the production team throughout the shift.
• Coordinate daily production and keep work moving.
• Set up equipment, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot basics.
• Step into different production positions as needed.
• Train and support production staff with day-to-day direction.
• Perform basic quality checks, measurements, and inspections.
• Track production, downtime, and scrap data.
• Maintain accurate work orders and inventory in the system.
• Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe.
• Identify equipment or production issues and report to management.
• Suggest improvements to production processes.
