Job summary

IPG, a leading packaging and protective solutions company, invites you to join our Blythewood, SC manufacturing team as a Senior Machine Operator. You will oversee production machinery, ensure safety, quality, and on-time output across multiple lines, and mentor junior operators.

You will set up and run equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, maintain logs, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent downtime.
• Train and mentor operators on proper machine operation and safety practices.
• Own up to 4 production lines.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment for an entire production line without supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.
