Job summary

Haworth, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Holland, MI. You will operate and set up production machinery to fulfill customer orders, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness for overtime or weekend work as needed. Relocation is not provided, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
• Must have current US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Education >= 8th grade.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Willing to flex schedule including overtime, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accesses electronic production system to determine daily schedule.
• Verifies parts received against pick tickets for accurate counts, colors, part numbers, and packaging.
• Monitors material flow and updates electronic production system accordingly.
• Selects the appropriate machine settings or program according to specifications.
• Sets up and operates machine; makes minor adjustments and repairs.
• Performs change-overs (tooling or tolerances, programs, etc.).
• Investigates & documents production nonconformance issues.
• May operate a powered industrial truck and/or overhead lift.
• Rotates through department work centers.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
