Job summary

Fire Dept. Cannabis in Tigard, OR seeks an experienced Machine Operations Manager to oversee all machine-based manufacturing operations.

You will be responsible for production scheduling, staffing, ERP system administration, equipment reliability, and OEM/vendor relationships while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with the Production Director and site leaders to balance production demands with team development, driving continuous improvement and operational

Qualifications

• Must possess an OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations or industrial production environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production scheduling software.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry safety regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly machine production schedules to align capacity with sales forecasts and inventory needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop Machine Operators across 1st and 2nd shifts; manage shift schedules and performance reviews.
• Serve as the departmental owner for ERP-related production workflows and inventory transactions.
• Maintain data integrity across scheduling, raw material tracking, inventory movement, and production reporting.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process optimization.
• Act as primary contact for machine manufacturers and OEM partners for technical support and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Production, Fulfillment, and Supply Chain teams to report material constraints and document SOPs.
• Promote safety standards, conduct inspections, and lead corrective actions.
