Job summary

KDC-ONE is seeking a skilled Machine Mechanic for its production department in New Jersey. The role involves maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, ensuring production efficiency and safety across shifts.

Responsibilities include daily machine maintenance, equipment set-up, inspections, and adherence to cGMPs and SOPs. Often requires independent work and coordination with related departments; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical and mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required daily maintenance on machines.
• Set up and wash down of equipment in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.
• Perform ongoing inspections of process production to ensure machines are properly working.
• Identify and resolve machine performance or safety issues through inspections, tests, and adjustments.
• Record all inspections, tests, repairs, and preventive maintenance in the maintenance log.
• Disassemble equipment as needed for maintenance; inspect and repair damaged parts.
• Clean work areas after each job and prepare machines for the next job.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
