Placements24 is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specialized in NLP to design, develop, and deploy scalable NLP models powering AI-driven products. You will work on text classification, sentiment analysis, translation, and chatbot systems while collaborating with product managers and data scientists.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in ML with NLP focus, strong Python and ML library skills, and hands-on experience with spaCy, NLTK, and Hugging Face Transformers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (MS/PhD) in CS/AI/linguistics or related field.
• 4+ years of ML engineering experience with a focus on NLP.
• Strong Python programming and ML library experience.
• Hands-on NLP libraries experience (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering, with a strong emphasis on NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with NLP libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Solid understanding of NLP concepts like word embeddings, attention mechanisms, and sequence modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Strong software engineering skills, including code quality, testing, and version control.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) is a significant advantage.
