We're looking to hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in our Modeling & Large Language Models team. In this role, you'll be part of a team that is building world-class information retrieval and question answering systems over structured and unstructured data. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for creating scalable enterprise grade question and answer systems using innovative machine learning and artificial intelligence tools and concepts.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to meet specific product requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for training and deploying LLMs.
  • Optimize LLMs for performance, efficiency, and accuracy in various applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to integrate LLMs into products.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Continuously research and stay up to date with advancements in LLMs and related technologies.
  • Develop and document methodologies, findings, and best practices for LLM fine-tuning.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high coding standards within the team.
  • Engage in the full machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Education:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or a related field or foreign equivalent degree.
  • 3 years+ industry experience in machine learning, with a focus on developing language models and natural language systems;
  • 3 years+ experience developing LLMs, such as GPT, BERT, or similar models.
  • 3 years+ experience working with Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • 3 years+ experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML infrastructure.
  • 3 years+ experience working with software engineering principles and fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years+ experience developing problem-solving skills and working in a collaborative team environment.
  • 3 years+ experience working with embeddings, vectorization, and database optimization.
  • 3 years+ experience working with ethical considerations in AI and a commitment to developing responsible AI solutions.
