Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ML Engineer to join our team.

Floy supports radiologists by enhancing their diagnostic efforts with innovative AI products focused on overlooked diseases. You will be part of a fast-paced scientific team dedicated to developing novel algorithms to address unexplored radiological diagnostic challenges. This role requires expertise in the latest ML/DL techniques in medical image processing and computer vision, the ability to think creatively, understanding of pathology biology, physics of signal acquisition (CT, MRI, etc.), and the capacity to independently plan and execute R&D tasks with passion.

The goal is to push beyond current research boundaries to create state-of-the-art models that offer tangible benefits to patients. You will contribute to model development from inception to clinical deployment. Patents and publications in leading conferences or journals are encouraged where applicable.

Your responsibilities

• Develop innovative ML products for radiological image diagnostics
• Create intellectual property by advancing Floy's capabilities beyond published SOTA and competitors
• Review and stay updated with literature on medical image processing and computer vision
• Understand biology and physics to interpret organs, pathologies, and imaging modalities

What are we looking for?

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in medical image processing or computer vision with DL, through roles, thesis, or coursework
• Strong grasp of machine learning and data science concepts
• Attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy
• Excellent English communication skills
• Teamwork and collaborative skills
• Proficiency in Python and scientific ML stacks

Good-to-have:

• Publications in conferences such as MICCAI, ISBI, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.
• Experience with MLOps and experiment reproducibility
