JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Senior Machine Builder to assemble custom automation equipment in our Ogden, UT facility. You will rely on engineering drawings, perform precision assembly, and collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience assembling automated machinery is highly preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and CAD prints is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom automation equipment from drawings and instructions.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly with focus on fit and finish.
• Assist with machine debugging, testing and validation.
• Work with engineering to resolve build challenges and improve designs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support installation and commissioning at customer sites as needed.
• Travel at least 20% domestically and internationally when required.
