Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Redwood City, CA, seeks a Senior IT Support Engineer to lead endpoint operations and local network infrastructure. The role centers on macOS administration, enterprise MDM provisioning, and securing endpoints while maintaining high availability.

You will act as a Tier 2/3 escalation lead, manage WAN/LAN services, and coordinate with infrastructure teams to support office systems, Wi‑Fi, and VPN access. A strong background in security and Apple ecosystems is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on IT support and systems engineering.
• macOS troubleshooting, scripting, and OS-level diagnostics.
• Experience with enterprise MDM suites and IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace).
• Strong TCP/IP, L2 networking, and Wi‑Fi/WLAN expertise.
• Certifications such as ACSP, Jamf Certified Admin, CCNA or Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead endpoint operations and local network infrastructure at the Redwood City office.
• Serve as the escalation lead for macOS endpoints (Tier 2/3).
• Provision, update, and secure endpoints via MDM solutions (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Mosyle).
• Enforce endpoint security controls and OS/compliance policies.
• Manage L2 networking and WLAN operations, including VLANs and 802.1X.
• Maintain core local services (DHCP, DNS, IPAM) and VPN access for users.
• Oversee perimeter security devices (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki) and VPNs.
