AeroVironment in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer - M&S to lead a team of engineers and analysts, accrediting a federation of models and simulations for MDS DT&E/OT&E testing. You will provide senior technical and project management, coordinating with multiple program offices and test agencies.

Required are a STEM master’s degree and 12+ years of experience, active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret, plus strong communication and briefing skills.

Formación

• Master's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
• 12+ years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Expertise in Missile Defense System (MDS) and Systems Engineering (SE).
• Experience in modeling & simulation (M&S) and VV&A policy.
• Strong written and verbal communication and briefing skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical/project management.
• Interact with multiple program organizations and test agencies.
• Advise Government customers on advanced projects.
• Develop and manage test event schedules with milestones.
• Deliver high-quality technical products on time.
• Attend meetings relevant to test events.
• Analyze plans, reports for sufficiency and understanding.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Evolve processes and products to innovative solutions.
• Develop POA&Ms to address known model limitations.
