Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a dynamic Tax professional to join our national M&A Tax group in Boston. This growth-oriented advisory practice serves multinational corporations, private equity firms, and private companies on the tax aspects of planning, structuring, and executing M&A transactions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, assist with complex tax issues, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high client service standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Completion of CPA licensure eligibility or Bar eligibility by start date.
• At least four years of tax-related experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to meet client service, quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work on due diligence and tax structuring projects within the M&A Tax practice.
• Assist senior team members with technical tax issues including consolidated returns, S corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
• Support reorganizations, bankruptcy planning, debt restructurings, and tax basis studies.
• Develop, motivate, and train team members.
