Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an experienced corporate development professional to shape where the business grows next and to build the conviction behind the deals that take us there.

This is a senior individual contributor role that leads the front end of M&A, developing investment theses, sourcing and screening targets, building the deal pipeline, and carrying priority opportunities from idea through an approved offer with strategic rationale and executive buy-in.

Qualifications

• 5+ years evaluating markets, technologies, and companies and turning analysis into action.
• Experience from corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, or scaling software businesses.
• Strong analytical toolkit: market analysis, modeling, competitive assessment, and strategic rationale development.

Responsibilities

• Help shape where and how Siemens pursues inorganic growth through acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
• Build market perspectives, competitive landscapes, and investment theses for leadership decisions.
• Source, screen, and evaluate M&A targets and opportunities for strategic fit and value creation.
• Pressure-test how AI changes markets and how moats and business models hold up.
• Lead priority opportunities through offer development and cross-functional collaboration to earn leadership commitment.
