Job summary

Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking a mid- to senior-level Lateral Associate to join its Corporate Services Group in Chicago or St. Louis.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in corporate matters, including M&A, private equity, and finance, with demonstrated ability to manage due diligence, draft and negotiate complex transactional documents, and advise clients alongside third-party advisors. Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required and bar admission in Missouri (or ability to obtain).
• 4+ years of experience in M&A, PE, and corporate finance.
• Experience managing due diligence and structuring complex transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation of corporate documents across deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level transactional matters from inception to closing.
• Coordinate due diligence with clients and third-party advisors.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, and financing documents.
• Supervise junior associates and manage partner relationships.
• Maintain client service excellence and uphold ethical standards.
