Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP seeks a senior Corporate Associate (6–8+ years) in Fort Lauderdale to lead complex M&A and private equity transactions from inception to closing. You will serve as the primary client contact, structuring deals and coordinating with tax, regulatory, and finance specialists.

You will mentor junior associates and paralegals while handling post-closing matters and negotiations for sophisticated clients across industries.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Florida Bar admission.
• 6–8+ years of corporate transactional experience at a leading law firm.
• Ability to independently manage all aspects of a transaction and lead deal teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A and private equity transactions from inception to closing.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with tax, regulatory, IP, and finance teams.
• Mentor junior associates and paralegals across deal phases.
• Oversee post-closing matters, price adjustments, and dispute resolution.
