Job summary

DLA Piper seeks an Of Counsel to join its Litigation group, Business and Commercial subgroup. This role is open to our Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, DC, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Short Hills, and Wilmington offices.

The candidate will communicate with clients, supervise associates, and help develop case strategy in M&A disputes, including indemnity issues and warranty insurance matters. Ideal candidates have at least eight years’ experience, strong research and writing skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in M&A post-closing disputes or warranty insurance disputes.
• Experience with M&A transaction documents and damages calculations.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with clients and supervises associates.
• Develops case strategy and collaborates with experts.
• Reviews briefs, motions, and discovery responses; supports depositions.
