Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of the M&A integration portfolio. This role coordinates diligence, pre-close readiness, Day 1, stabilization, and transition to steady-state operations across finance, HR, legal, operations, engineering, and IT.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in M&A integration, enterprise transformation, and managing complex, cross-functional programs with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, operations, or finance.
• 8+ years of experience in program management, M&A integration, or related fields.
• Proven track record leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple functions, sites, vendors, and executives.
• Experience supporting or leading post-merger integration or large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Experience managing integrated program plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, readiness assessments, governance cadences, and exec reporting.
• Ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of M&A lifecycles from diligence to Day 1 readiness to operations.
• Solid business and financial acumen with cost, resource, and value-realization focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise M&A integration roadmap across multiple acquisitions and workstreams.
• Translate strategy and governance into integrated program plans with milestones and readiness criteria.
• Coordinate integration across functions, IT, site leadership, vendors, and advisory teams.
• Maintain plans spanning diligence, pre-close, Day 1, stabilization, and target-state integration.
• Run integration governance with reviews, RAID, dependencies, and exec reporting.
• Ensure functional owners deliverables, dates, resources, risks, and escalation paths.
• Identify conflicts, critical-path dependencies, and mitigation plans with leaders.
• Support due diligence with assessments, risks, and executable plans.
• Lead Day 1 and operational-readiness planning for people, process, technology, and compliance.
• Coordinate ERP, IT infrastructure, IAM, cybersecurity, data migration, and site onboarding integration.
• Prepare executive-ready reports on health, milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Track costs, benefits, risk reductions, and value realization with Finance.
