Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Managing Consultant or Senior Managing Consultant to lead environmental due diligence in M&A contexts from Columbus, OH. The role involves managing complex transactional due diligence projects, Phase I ESAs, and environmental compliance reviews of industrial facilities with long histories.

You will develop proposals, manage budgets, and coordinate a team while engaging with clients. The successful candidate has a background in consulting, strong project management skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., geology, environmental/chemical engineering)
• 7+ years of Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance reviews experience
• Experience developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence
• Experience in analysis and remediation of contaminated sites
• Knowledge of emerging contaminants, ESG, product stewardship, and safety regulations (plus)

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate environmental due diligence projects for industrial, private equity, and legal clients
• Oversee environmental compliance reviews of industrial facilities
• Support clients with compliance permitting, reporting and record keeping
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects and manage budgets
• Review site investigation reports and provide conclusions and recommendations
• Lead and mentor a small team of junior Environmental Due Diligence professionals
• Lead client discussions and maintain strong client contact
