Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior for our Deal Services practice in Houston. The role delivers financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, and M&A advisory to clients pursuing mergers and acquisitions, while building strong client relationships and delivering timely reports and insights.

As a Senior, you will supervise associates, manage multiple engagements, and coordinate with clients and other advisors to ensure quality deliverables and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of experience as an Associate in an equivalent industry/service.
• Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant certification.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Familiarity with internal software systems including Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows/Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial due diligence and build client reports.
• Lead client calls and review associate work.
• Collect and analyze data to identify financial risks in M&A engagements.
• Prepare Quality of Earnings and related reports for clients.
• Coordinate engagements with supervision and communicate progress to managers.
