Job summary

The ideal candidate has a JD with at least eight years’ experience, strong drafting skills, and a proven ability to advise senior business leaders on strategic matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or public company.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex strategic transactions.
• Familiarity with public company governance and disclosure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal elements of acquisitions, dispositions, investments, joint ventures and partnerships.
• Provide legal support for strategic partnerships and commercial relationships.
• Oversee governance processes for strategic transactional matters and prepare board materials.
• Coordinate inputs from IP, employment, securities regulatory, finance, tax and HR teams.
• Support Enterprise Strategy and Corporate Development on transactional matters.
• Provide ongoing legal support for new commercial initiatives and corporate governance matters.
• Maintain high standards of legal and regulatory compliance.
