Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation in the United States seeks a Senior Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions, to drive strategic insights and support end-to-end deal processes. You will work with senior leaders to identify opportunities and articulate financial rationale for transactions.

You will develop comprehensive models, perform due diligence support, and help shape integration plans to maximize post-deal value across Lubrizol’s business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of business experience including at least 1 year in investment banking, corporate development, or related area.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Support & Pipeline Development: identify, screen, and prioritize acquisition opportunities; analyze market and competition; maintain target pipeline.
• Financial Analysis & Valuation: build financial models (DCF, scenarios); support due diligence and prepare materials for leadership reviews.
• Transaction Execution: coordinate data gathering, due diligence, and documentation; assist in negotiation prep.
• Integration & Post-Deal Activities: support post-merger integration plans and track performance.
• Corporate Strategy & Business Development: assist strategic planning, market assessments, and growth initiatives across units.
