Job summary

FIS Management Services LLC is seeking an experienced M&A professional to execute end-to-end M&A processes, including strategic rationale, valuation, due diligence, negotiations and documentation. The role collaborates with Finance, Tax and Accounting to underwrite opportunities and build transaction models.

You will work with executive leadership across Banking Solutions and Capital Markets, leveraging AI tools to accelerate market mapping and screening while safeguarding confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, computer science or information technology (or equivalent).
• 3+ years’ relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory or strategy consulting.
• Demonstrable track record of live transaction execution through to close (buy-side/sell-side or carve-out).
• Experience in FinTech/payments/banking or capital markets technology desirable but not essential.
• Experience with acquisitions and divestitures in FinTech is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shapes overall M&A strategy with the executive team and portfolio reviews.
• Prepares strategy and M&A materials for the Leadership Team and Board.
• Uses AI tools to accelerate market mapping, target screening, data room and contract review while protecting confidential information.
• Assesses targets’ data, AI and technology capabilities and risks in diligence (data rights, governance, IP, cybersecurity).
• Helps build and maintain playbooks, templates and deal data assets for reuse.

Skills

3+ years’ experience in M&A/finance/BD

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, CS or IT

MBA, CFA, ACA/CPA or equivalent qualification desirable
