Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health seeks an experienced LVT Supervisor for the Surgery department at Virginia Veterinary Centers, Short Pump, VA. This full-time leadership role requires active case support, anesthesia assistance, and strong team coaching.

You will mentor the Surgery team, enforce clinical standards, and drive department efficiency while collaborating with surgeons and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a specialty Surgery Department.
• Advanced clinical proficiency in surgery nursing and anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Lead Surgery technical team; supervise day-to-day workflow and performance.
• Provide visible leadership, foster a collaborative, professional culture.
• Maintain clinical presence, assist with anesthesia, patient care, and cases.
• Coordinate with surgeons and team to support differing clinical styles.
• Set expectations, coach staff, and manage performance improvements as needed.
• Oversee onboarding, training, safety, and compliance with SOPs.
