Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility in California. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards as directed by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to sustain the highest quality care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants' functions in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure it reflects daily practice.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and facility surveys.
• Assist in planning discharge and resident care plans as needed.
• Complete accident/incident reports and maintain census/reporting.
• Transcribe physicians' orders and document nursing notes clearly.
• Protect resident's health information and report violations promptly.
