Job summary

UCLA Health in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Senior LVN, Float to provide nursing support and leadership in the Department of Urology. The role includes outpatient patient care, assisting with cystoscopies and bladder installations, IV starts, venipuncture, medication administration, and patient flow management.

You will contribute to teaching plans for patient self-care and may travel to other UCLA Urology clinics as assigned.

Qualifications

• CA LVN license with IV and blood withdrawal certification is required.
• BLS certification through AHA/Red Cross is required.
• Ability to travel to other Urology clinics as assigned and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support and leadership in outpatient setting.
• Assist with urologic procedures (cystoscopies, bladder installations).
• Start IVs and perform venipuncture; administer medications.
• Manage patient flow and collect data; support front desk as needed.
• Develop and implement teaching plan related to patient self-care.
