Job summary

UCLA Health's Ambulatory Float Team seeks a Sr. Licensed Vocational Nurse to support patients across 25+ specialties in ambulatory clinics, including primary care, pediatrics, specialty, and surgery.

Qualifications

• Active license issued by the CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners with IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal.
• Active BLS/CPR Certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Experience performing phlebotomy, injections, CPR, and other skills within scope of practice.
• Ability to take vital signs, administer medications, and obtain drug refills.
• Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with physicians, staff, and health providers.
• Knowledge of instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and procedures.
• Six months of LVN outpatient ambulatory clinic experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and clinical support across multiple ambulatory clinics.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Support clinic operations and provide coverage across practices based on staffing needs.
• Travel to UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California is required.
