Job summary

Interiors by Jen Davidson, a luxury residential interior design studio in Chicago, seeks an Interior Designer to lead and execute projects from concept through installation. You will develop design concepts, manage details, source materials, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients.

You bring a strong design point of view, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project independently while collaborating with the design team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Typically 4–7+ years of residential interior design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• In-depth knowledge of material specifications, construction detailing, and furniture sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations.
• Produce and oversee design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings.
• Develop space planning solutions and furniture layouts.
• Translate client needs and vision into cohesive, well-executed design solutions.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project success.
