Job summary

Michael Page seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for luxury custom homes in Broward County. The role oversees subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality control, inspections, and daily site activities, requiring a track record delivering high-end homes on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in luxury residential construction, with at least 5 years managing $10M+ projects, strong leadership, and proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years managing luxury custom homes valued at $10M+.
• Strong understanding of high-end residential construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Experience with waterfront estates, custom residences, and architecturally complex projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Florida building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for custom luxury home projects valued at $10M or more.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trades throughout all phases of construction.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, workmanship standards, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, designers, and ownership teams to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Coordinate inspections, permitting requirements, and municipal approvals.
• Identify and proactively address construction challenges to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.
• Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout construction.
