Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Event Planner for a luxury hospitality property in Franklin, Tennessee. The role centers on coordinating meetings, retreats, and special events, while building strong client relationships and ensuring events meet contractual commitments and client expectations.

Reporting to the Director of Events, you will oversee event details across departments, prepare function sheets, and collaborate with culinary and operations teams to customize menus and services.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, networking, and presentation skills in English.
• A four-year college degree is required; equivalent experience considered.
• CMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage group meetings, retreats, programs, and special events from Sales Department turnover through execution.
• Build strong client relationships, clarify event needs, and coordinate arrangements that meet client expectations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance events through upgrades, additional services, and special offerings.
• Review contracts covering guest room blocks, meeting spaces, food and beverage, and other event services.
• Communicate accurate, timely event details to all involved departments.
• Prepare and maintain function sheets, client correspondence, internal booking reports, and event files; delegate preparation as appropriate.
• Partner with culinary and operational teams to coordinate special menus, services, and event requirements.
• Participate in business reviews, pre-convention meetings, training sessions, and other event and catering-related meetings.
• Collaborate with department leaders to ensure all commitments to each group are fulfilled.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
• Represent the property at community events and industry meetings as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
