Michael Kors is seeking a Senior E-commerce Photographer to lead in-house photography for its global digital product imagery. You will establish brand-wide standards, oversee on-figure shoots, and collaborate with Art Direction, Styling, and Production to translate seasonal direction into scalable, luxury imagery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional fashion, retail, or luxury e-commerce photography experience, including significant on-figure experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading photography within a high-volume studio environment.
• A strong portfolio showing sophisticated on-figure fashion photography, product accuracy, consistent lighting, and a clear understanding of luxury brand presentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Capture One Pro, Adobe Photoshop, professional digital camera systems, and studio lighting systems such as Profoto or Broncolor.
• Deep knowledge of lighting, exposure, color management, lens selection, digital capture, and production workflows.
• Experience creating and maintaining photography standards, lighting diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-figure e-commerce photography across Ready-to-Wear, footwear, handbags, and accessories with consistent lighting, framing, and product representation.
• Set and maintain lighting guides, framing standards, camera specs, capture settings, and playbooks for recurring e-commerce image types.
• Direct and mentor the Photographer, Junior Photographer, Digital Technician, and freelancers to ensure consistent execution across sets.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Stylists, Hair and Makeup teams, Model Casting, and Studio Production to translate seasonal brand direction into repeatable photography.
• Manage daily set execution, shot-list accuracy, image quality, and alignment with production targets.
• Own capture quality by reviewing exposure, focus, color integrity, crop, detail, and file organization before post-production.
• Coordinate with the Still Life Photographer to ensure visual continuity between on-figure and product-only imagery.
• Identify opportunities to improve capture workflows, set transitions, equipment configuration, and communication across teams.
• Oversee photography equipment, recommend upgrades, and keep cameras, lenses, lighting, and software production-ready.
