Job summary

One&Only Moonlight Basin seeks a Manager, Retail to oversee two luxury boutiques, driving sales, profitability, and an elevated client experience at the resort. This role focuses on merchandising, clienteling, and building a high-performing team to grow local and repeat clientele.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in luxury retail with management experience, strong product knowledge, and expertise in buying, sourcing, and planning merchandise. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or Retail/Fashion is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Retail experience in a luxury fashion, retail, or resort setting, including at least 2 to 3 years in a management role.
• Previous experience buying, sourcing, and planning merchandise.
• Proven expertise managing merchandise across multiple locations is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience in luxury selling, clienteling, and upselling.
• Excellent business acumen, with exposure to developing sales strategies, budgets, targets, and action plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall sales performance of both boutiques, establishing and achieving productivity and profitability goals.
• Develop strategies to grow resort, repeat, and local clientele, including events, activations, private appointments, and other business-building initiatives.
• Monitor key business metrics, identifying and implementing action plans to drive continued growth.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, demonstrating elevated selling, upselling, product knowledge, and service standards.
• Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience, ensuring consistently high standards of presentation and service.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients through effective clienteling, personalized outreach, and consistent follow-up.
• Oversee the client database, establishing expectations for client outreach, appointments, special orders, and post-purchase engagement.
