Job summary

Telnet, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead validation of LTE and 5G RAN products, focusing on air interface, end-to-end performance, and call processing.

You will design and execute tests, analyze results, and present findings to customers and stakeholders. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, extensive lab experience, and the ability to work with multiple vendors and teams to ensure successful product validation and rollout.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of related experience; Master’s with 6+ years preferred; EE/CS degree required.
• Deep knowledge of 4G/5G air interface, DL/UL scheduling, beamforming, MIMO, ENDC.
• Experience with 3GPP Rel activities and system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with inter-vendor radio testing and ORAN product validation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop product and feature validation, performance analysis, and customer review sessions.
• Perform test execution in customer labs and prepare reports and presentations.
• Create system test cases from requirements and ensure alignment with specs.
• Travel sporadically as project demands.
