NVIDIA Corporation in North Carolina is seeking an experienced HPC systems engineer with deep LSF expertise to own scheduling across federated cells. You’ll debug internals, optimize mbatchd/mbschd behavior, and drive federation design for scale while collaborating with IaC and methodology teams on high-memory and tape-out workloads.

We value hands-on production MultiCluster experience, strong Linux fundamentals, and scripting in Python, Perl, and shell.

Qualificações

• BS or MS in CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in HPC or large-scale batch compute, with 5+ years on IBM Spectrum LSF.
• Demonstrated depth in LSF internals beyond documentation.
• Hands-on MultiCluster experience in production, multi-site environment.
• Strong Linux fundamentals, scripting in Python, Perl, and shell.

Responsabilidades

• Own scheduler behavior across 15–25 federated LSF cells, tuning mbatchd/mbschd and analyzing scheduling cycles.
• Diagnose MultiCluster forwarding problems and remote queue sizing.
• Define technical design for cell topology and federation as the farm grows.
• Collaborate with IaC engineer to encode scheduler policy into a robust config schema.
• Partner with CAD and methodology teams on heavy workloads and tape‑out bursts.
