Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Riverton, UT is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with regulations and facility policies.

You will administer medications, transcribe orders, participate in care planning, and collaborate with physicians, CNAs and other staff to ensure holistic, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and guidelines and established facility policies and procedures.
• Follows the nursing model to promote holistic care for the residents.
• Ensures that policies and procedures are complied with by nursing personnel assigned.
• Participates in the admission, discharge and transfers of residents as required.
