Job summary

SUITESRIO is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining high quality care.

You will direct staffing, coordinate shifts, supervise the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, and participate in discharge planning with other departments to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing care facilities laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee nursing staff performance and coordinate shifts, services, and activities.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff compliance.
• Complete and file required charts, records, and reports for residents.
• Review treatment plans with attending physicians and update orders as needed.
• Advise on discharge planning and coordination with other departments.
• Monitor medication administration and narcotic records for accuracy.
• Supervise staff training, orientation, and annual in-service programs.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and equipment handling standards are met.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure resident well-being.
