Job summary

Diversity Group seeks a GS7 Primary Care Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform complex nursing assignments in a Veterans Affairs medical center. Candidates must have practical nursing knowledge and the ability to exercise independent technical judgment under supervision.

The role requires licensure, English proficiency, and the ability to monitor and document patient conditions, assist RN/MD, and participate in governance activities to improve veteran care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the State agency and/or NLNAC.
• Active, full, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the U.S. or D.C.

Responsibilities

• Promote and demonstrate nursing concepts in the Medical Center.
• Document care provided and patient responses.
• Perform nursing care procedures per policy and SOP.
• Support RNs and HC Providers in prioritizing patient care.
