Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks a senior validation engineer to lead LPDDR functional validation across SoC products. You will develop test plans, run tests on pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms, and work with cross-functional teams including design, software, and product engineering.

The candidate should have a strong SoC architecture understanding, LPDDR4/5 expertise, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• 15+ years of validation or related SoC fields for Sr Principal; 10-15 years for Principal.
• Experience with LPDDR4/LPDDR5 and C programming.
• Strong teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare setups, execute tests, gather data, and summarize results.
• Debug issues, improve test coverage, and document observations.
• Collaborate with design, systems, and software teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain validation plans, reports, and project records.
