Job summary

VulcanForms in the United States is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain Inconel LPBF processes for high-volume production. You will drive printer performance, process capability, and production readiness while collaborating with Production, Quality, Materials, and Equipment Engineering teams.

You will lead standard work, troubleshoot issues, implement DOE, PFMEA, and control plans, and mentor technicians on LPBF best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in metal additive/manufacturing
• Experience with LPBF and CNC
• Create operating procedures and specs
• Strong problem-solving and DOE experience
• Excellent cross-functional communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Inconel LPBF processes for safety, quality, throughput
• Own process development from initial print to production release
• Troubleshoot print failures and variation daily
• Analyze data to identify trends and improve capability
• Lead PFMEA, control plans, validations
• Mentor technicians on LPBF execution
