Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring a Senior Low Voltage Cable Technician for our Louisville, KY Technologies Group. Our Low Voltage Technologies Group is experiencing exciting and rapid growth. The anticipated pay range for this position is $28-$32 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

1. Establish clear and concise productivity goals and quality expectations for crews.
2. Prepare and review project documents with the crew prior to the project start date.
3. Ensure that the infrastructure installation and equipment performance meet Team Fishel's, the Customer's, and Industry standards.
4. Ensure the correct tool and test equipment usage practices are followed.
5. Maintain company vehicles according to established practices.
6. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
7. Provide weekly project updates with a two-week look-ahead schedule.
8. Ensure all necessary materials, equipment, and tools are delivered to the job site on schedule.
9. Manage and accurately document all project change orders.

Qualifications

1. Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic cable installation (security knowledge is a plus).
4. Fundamental computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
5. Keen desire to be a team player and succeed in the technologies business.
6. Above-average knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
7. BICSI certification is a plus.
8. Bilingual experience is a plus.

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in safety, tool operation, and maintenance areas.
