Job summary

APIC Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our New Mexico operations. You will install, test, and maintain structured cabling, fire alarm systems, security, and A/V solutions on medium to large commercial projects.

This role offers leadership opportunities, mentoring apprentices, and growth within APIC Solutions\'s expanding business, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on low voltage system installation on large commercial projects.
• Valid NM Low Voltage Journeyman License (ES3J/7).
• Valid driver\'s license with reliable transportation and insurance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and industry codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Mentor and supervise apprentices or helpers as assigned.
• Maintain accurate job records, redline drawings, and service reports.
