Job summary

ADVANCED NETWORK MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Low-Voltage Technician to join its Special Systems team in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time role installs, terminates, tests, and maintains low-voltage systems in commercial and educational environments; NM ES-3J Journeyman license required.

The selected candidate will work independently and with a team, mentor apprentices, read drawings, follow NEC and manufacturer specs, and help keep projects safe, on schedule, and up to quality

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial low-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of structured cabling including copper and fiber-optic.
• Experience with access control and video surveillance systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and installation best practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain structured cabling systems.
• Service access control and video surveillance systems.
• Read drawings and specifications; ensure compliance with codes.
• Train apprentices and mentor junior technicians.
• Coordinate with field leadership and other trades to support schedules.
