Job summary

Everon is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair panels, wiring, and devices across our customer sites. This role may include programming and requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field experience, NICET certification for fire alarm systems, ability to read plans, and fluency with local codes. Valid driver's license is required; travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or vocational training.
• 3+ years of experience in the field.
• Mastery in troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom access control.
• Strong knowledge of local and national codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and install panels, boxes, and wiring.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HAZCOM regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
• Provide reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Provides documentation of service and hours worked.
