Job summary

Snelling Staffing DFW seeks an experienced Senior Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and equipment across commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and data systems, plus the ability to read blueprints and collaborate with project teams. Strong mentoring and safety practices are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional low-voltage installation experience.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
• Experience with commercial construction and retrofit projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and equipment.
• Install, configure, and service structured cabling, access control, CCTV/surveillance, data, and communication systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, schematics, and project specifications.
• Perform cable pulls, terminations, testing, labeling, and system verification.
• Use appropriate testing and certification tools to verify cable and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve installation, connectivity, and equipment issues.
• Work on commercial construction and retrofit projects in a variety of environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, testing, and completed work.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and job-site safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• When needed, assist with training, mentoring, and directing junior technicians.
