Job summary

Wachter is accepting applications for Low Voltage Lead Project Technicians for service and large project work at various locations across the United States. This position requires technicians to travel up to 95% of the time.

We seek self-motivated and reliable technicians who can work independently, read blueprints, and collaborate with teams of 4 to 20. The role includes installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cabling infrastructure with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• EST license is required for the role.
• Experience as a data cable technician is expected.
• Must travel extensively nationwide (up to 95%).
• Ability to read blueprints and site maps; read color codes where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and drill through walls.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and meet safety standards.
• Repair cable poles and towers; test installed systems.
