Job description

Intergovernmental self-insurance pool seeks a qualified Loss Prevention/Control Representative to assist the loss control team in reducing multi-line losses/claims for public entities. This hybrid “work-from-home/office” position will need to reside/relocate in the Greater Denver Metro Area of Colorado. The position will be expected to travel regularly throughout the year, sometimes as much as 3 - 4 days per week, with overnight stays expected. A CTSI vehicle will be provided.

The position is responsible for safety, risk management, environmental, and health guidance, general consultation, program audits, and infrastructure and property surveys for CTSI members. The ideal candidate will be capable of developing and providing relevant training, such as webinars, classroom, and hands-on safety and health training.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science fields, Business or Public Administration. At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in safety and loss control activities including training and/or public speaking experience to groups, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of applicable practices, regulations/laws, excellent written and oral communication and computer skills, the ability to develop and present effective training programs. Being a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is a plus.

Salary Range:

The salary range for the position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
