Job summary

PartnerRe Ltd. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a technically strong actuary to join our Global Longevity pricing team. The role focuses on pricing and benchmark development for US longevity reinsurance, including Pension Risk Transfer.

You will handle data preparation, experience analysis, cash-flow projection and sensitivity analysis, and collaborate with global leadership on pricing and bid strategies. Interacting with clients at conferences and due diligence visits, you will contribute to pricing

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in life (re-)insurance, pricing, valuation, or actuarial consulting.
Experience in the US Pension Risk Transfer market.
FSA or ASA designation required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Pricing and benchmarking for US longevity reinsurance deals on the Global Longevity team.
Data preparation, experience analysis, basis setting, cash-flow projection and reconciliation, and sensitivity analysis.
Collaborate with Global Longevity leadership to determine pricing and bid strategies for specific deals.
Research and develop US benchmark pricing bases; explore benchmarks for new markets (e.g., Canada).
Support enhancement and maintenance of longevity pricing tools and modelling methodologies.
