Job summary

PartnerRe Ltd. in Stamford, CT, is seeking a seasoned actuary to join the Worldwide Pricing & Analytics team.

You will be a Business Partner for the US MGA Insurance Programs Underwriting Team, leading pricing analysis for markets, segments, and large cases, and delivering profitability insights. The role requires 7–10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and ACAS/FCAS designation, with strong communication and analytical skills to collaborate with underwriters, claims, and actuarial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; ACAS or FCAS designation preferred.
• 7–10 years of pricing/actuarial experience, especially US MGA pricing or reinsurance.
• Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing analysis for US MGA Insurance Programs, including portfolio review.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop pricing models and refine key assumptions over time.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Reserving and the Managing Actuary.
• Monitor portfolio risks and develop MI dashboards where needed.
• Apply actuarial theory using PartnerRe models and systems.

Job Summary

The position is embedded in the Worldwide Pricing & Analytics team, which is part of theGroup Actuarial Office. You will be based in the Stamford office, which is responsible for pricing US business.

About the Role

Your core responsibility is to be a Business Partner for the US MGA Insurance ProgramsUnderwriting Team by providing profitability analysis of markets, segments, and/orindividual transactions. In this role you will:

• Lead pricing analysis for US MGA Insurance Programs business, including portfolioreview and large case pricing review
• Provide subject matter and functional expertise to internal/external stakeholders forthe above segment
• Lead projects to refine key assumptions related to the above segment, includingdeveloping an insurance pricing model over time
• Liaise with Underwriting, Claims, Reserving, and the Managing Actuary to ensurethat pricing reflects all relevant information
• Assist in monitoring the portfolio and underlying risks, including MI dashboarding
• Utilize PartnerRe actuarial models and understand the underlying actuarial theory
• Participate on a variety of ad-hoc project teams
• Outside of your core responsibilities, you will be occasionally providing actuarial analysisin support of other functions with the Group Actuarial & Risk Office, which could includeReserving, Risk, or non-US reinsurance Pricing

Work Experience and Qualifications

You have gained 7 to 10 years of work experience; some experience in US MGAInsurance pricing and/or reinsurance pricing preferred.

You hold a Bachelor's Degree and ACAS or FCAS designation.
