Job summary

Lightship in Colorado is seeking a Senior Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor to own the warehouse and logistics systems on the factory floor. You will lead a small team, handle hiring and development, and work closely with production leadership to ensure material flows from receiving to assembly with impeccable inventory accuracy.

You will manage inbound/outbound freight, coordinate line-side material delivery, and drive efficiency while maintaining safety on the floor.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in warehouse operations or logistics within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
• 2+ years leading an operational team or crew.
• Hands-on floor experience including forklift operation.
• Direct experience coordinating inbound or outbound freight.
• Inventory cycle counts and root-cause discrepancy resolution in ERP.
• Cross-functional partnering with production/operations leadership.
• ERP fluency and ability to build reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the warehouse team; own hiring, onboarding, 1:1s, performance management, and scheduling.
• Own receiving and put-away; ensure same-day inspection and placement.
• Drive line-side material flow; coordinate kitting and workstation layout with ME.
• Maintain inventory integrity; manage cycle counts and ERP records.
• Champion safety; enforce forklift and PPE protocols, keep audit-ready standards.
• Coordinate inbound freight with suppliers and 3PLs and manage carrier relationships.
